Deerfield, Ill, March 21, 2021 – Alera Group Wealth Services today announced that it has hired Bob Ciullo as vice president, business development, to focus on strategic acquisitions for the Wealth Services division of Alera Group. This newly created role signals Alera Group’s commitment to the wealth services industry and to growing the division through acquisition.

Bob’s demonstrated experience in recruitment and development of advisory teams, client sourcing and prospecting and firm acquisitions will be instrumental to that effort.”
Ciullo joins Alera Group Wealth Services with more than 30 years of industry and leadership experience, most recently as managing director at DeVoe & Company, where he led consulting engagements on RIA firm growth, incentive compensation structure, RIA valuations and buy- and sell-side engagements. Previously, he held senior roles at multi-billion-dollar RIAs, PagnatoKarp and Sullivan Bruyette Speros and Blayney, as well as Charles Schwab, UBS Wealth Management, Lincoln Financial, AXA Equitable and other leading financial services firms.
The addition of a dedicated business development role to the Wealth Services team follows other moves to establish a foundation for future growth through acquisition. Earlier this year, Alera Group hired a COO to focus on the Wealth Services and Retirement Plan Services divisions.
